Nightlife in Gumbet Bodrum

I have been to Gumbet Bodrum many times and go there nearly every year. Gumbet is only about a 5-10 minutes drive from Bodrum centre. It’s a lively little place with plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and discos night clubs. Also Gumbet has it own small beach.

If you need to go to Bodrum, Bitez which takes about 10 minutes get a local dolmus and has more nicer beach.One the other hand Gumbet has a lot of watersports to keep you busy during your holidays.

There is some nice busy hotels in Gumbet and Bodrum, a lot of theme on the main street in Gumbet and they back onto the beach so the location is good. The pool areas are nice and clean. The food is nice and the staff are friendly. Hotel Baba also has a mini golf course near the swimming pool.

There is alot of restaurants to choose from (ranging from Chinese, English, Mexican, Indian, Turkish) my favourites were the Red Dragon Chinese, Caspers and a little kebab shop called Yummies. All 3 of these restaurants are on the main street.

The nightlife in Gumbet is really good, theres lots of bars and discos that are open until 5am. The best 2 discos would probably be ??? . If you fancy a change some nights you can always jump on a dolmus to Bodrum and go to the Katamaran Nightclub (on a boat) or Halikarnas which is big open air night club.

Theres plenty of shops in Gumbet, really good for getting fake jeans, t-shirts, other clothing, handbags, shoes, purses. There are also a lot of trips and excursions that you can go on but for most of them you have to travel quite far. The one thing I would definitely recommend is a boat trip, the scenery is lovely, its very relaxing and its a really good way to get a tan, not all the boats take the same route but most of them stop at 3 different places the most popular probably being Camel Beach. Camel beach is much nicer than the beach in Gumbet and yes…you can take a ride on a Camel.

Bodrum castle is quite interesting as well and all you have to do to get there is hop on a bus for 10 minutes. Gumbet is quite a good holiday destination but it’s not nearly as cheap as it used to be and some drink prices are same is other places.
