Nightlife in Gumbet

There is alot of restaurants to choose from ranging from Chinese, English, Mexican, Indian, Turkish however our recommendation is always try a Turkish restaurants and taste Turkish Kebabs, restaurants and take aways mainly based on main street in Gumbet and there is plenty to choose from.

The nightlife in Gumbet is really good, theres lots of bars and discos that are open until 5am. The best 2 discos would probably be. If you fancy a change some nights you can always jump on a dolmus to Bodrum and go to the Katamaran Nightclub or Halikarnas which is big open air night club.

There is many other nightclubs and bars in Bodrum near marina and alot of them based on small streets, also most of them is open till 3, 5 in the morning. If you like party and nightclubs thats is where you need to be.

The center of Gumbet comes alive at night with several kilometers of rope lights in every conceivable color stretched around the outlines of almost every building, restaurant and disco bar. Flashing neon lights complete the picture in a final attempt to lure the passing tourists.

Disco bars thrash out this years and yesteryears sounds, mingling together in a cacophony of sounds in the narrow streets, while restaurants tempt the unwary with promises of Chinese, Indian, Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Thai and even Turkish food, all from the same kitchen.

Theres plenty of shops in Gumbet, really good for getting fake jeans, t-shirts, other clothing, handbags, shoes, purses. There are also a lot of trips and excursions that you can go on but for most of them you have to travel quite far.

The one thing I would definitely recommend is a boat trip, the scenery is lovely, its very relaxing and its a really good way to get a tan, not all the boats take the same route but most of them stop at 3 different places the most popular probably being Camel Beach. Camel beach is much nicer than the beach in Gumbet.. 01/01/09
