Flights to Turkey
Flights to Bodrum Dalaman and Antalya might get cheaper soon. Turkey’s low-cost carrier Pegasus Airlines is launching new direct flights from Manchester to the Turkish holiday destinations of Antalya and Dalaman. During the summer season, the airline will fly directly to Antalya every Sunday and direct flights to Dalaman every Monday and Friday. The new services start from May 2 running until mid October.
Sertac Haybat, general manager of Pegasus Airlines, said: “We are delighted to be adding new direct flight routes to our summer timetable in response to ever-growing demand from our British customers.
It is expected that more travellers than ever will visit Turkey from the UK in 2010 and we are proud to be part of this increase in Turkey’s popularity.”
Andrew Harrison, commercial director for Manchester Airport, said: “Holidays in Turkey are proving to be incredibly popular in 2010 because it’s outside the Eurozone so the addition of services to Dalaman and Antalya will give our passengers further choice this year.
Several airlines are expanding out of Manchester, which we’re delighted to see, and I’m confident that passengers will be choosing Manchester over its competitors during the busy summer season.”
